FAQ

The things people ask on the first call, so you can skip to the second one.

What does "full-stack partner" actually mean?: One team, one agreement, covering software, web, infrastructure, and day-to-day IT. When something's wrong you make one call — there's no gap between vendors for a problem to fall into.
How do projects get priced?: Fixed-scope builds are quoted against a written spec you approve first. Ongoing work runs on a flat monthly agreement. Either way, you never learn a number from an invoice.
How fast can we start?: Discovery usually starts within two weeks. If something is on fire, say so — same-week triage is a thing we do.
What do you build with?: Boring, proven technology by default — TypeScript, Vue and Nuxt, Postgres, and infrastructure your next hire will recognize. Novelty has to earn its way in.
Do you only work with Portland businesses?: Portland is home and most of our work is here, but we work with teams across the Northwest and beyond. Time zones are a solved problem.
Do you take over existing systems?: Yes — inherited codebases, aging servers, and "the last guy left" situations are half our practice. We start with an audit, so you know what you have before we change anything.
